Our first-come first-served primitive tent camp area runs along the river from Huaco Falls to Slumber Falls – two of the most popular rapids on the Guadalupe. The primitive site is a 20 acre piece of the property. There’s nothin’ like a night under the stars with the rush of the rapids in the background.
Forty-nine reservable tent sites with electric are located on the waterfront in the Northern most section of the campground, where the river is a tad more tranquil and the fishin’ and swimmin’ are great!
Ground fires are allowed at Camp Huaco Springs (unless there is a burn ban in effect). We do not provide grills at any of our tent campgrounds, but you are welcome to bring your own, charcoal or propane are allowed. We do not allow generators, air conditioning units or dressing changing tents used for portable toilets.
